I'm in the process of switching all my rifles from MOE to slimline. Just waiting for the mid-length to be released.

Neither am I, but for a dissipator build, the MOE forened just feels/looks right

Or a side-sling adapter, it looks like.

The only purpose the 6 o'clock sling swivel serves is for ceremonial sling attachment.

It's plastic. Nothing a dremel couldn't fix.

I was hoping they would have a rifle length SL handguard, but they told me they were not.

Why is slimline better than MOE?

I am not seeing a benefit of switching.

Have not used the front sling swivel since going MOE, using single point instead.
Still, I like having it there. And the MOE looks weird without it.

May try slimline, but I would want to go hands on with one first. I like the shape of the MOE and wouldn't go slim unless I liked it better.

Slimline

?

My HD carbine has a MOE hand guard and a side-sling adapter and it's fine.  It looks like the slimline guard completely covers the side of the FSB.

MOE on midlength rifle.

MOE SL > MOE
This is also a question of M-Lok vs MOE, as the SL handguards are M-Lok.

There is an M-Lok version of the MOE.
