I inherited a Uberti 1873 Winchester clone in 45LC from my late uncle - I love this rifle (just as he did).

Anyway, I think I've been bitten by the "guns of the old west" bug because now I want another lever action rifle (probably a Henry clone), a Sharps rifle of some flavor, and a single action revolver. They look totally badass, are a joy to shoot, and you really feel like you're holding a piece of history (even with a clone) when you're slinging lead down range. Most of my money goes into my AR, SCAR, and AK collection, but western guns are the next best thing in my book.

So, what's your favorite pistol, rifle, or shotgun from the Old West? Something you already own or something you want?

In my opinion, this is the most beautiful gun ever made:

Anytime I see a Schofield, it reminds me of Ben Foster's badass character in 3:10 to Yuma - rockin' the Schofields:

I have an original Colt 1873 from the Custer range guns. I also have plenty of other original old west guns to go along with it. You can't really have a favorite when they are so interesting and unique.

Out of what I own:
It's hard. I have a lot of old west period guns, Colts, Blackpowder revolvers, close to 40 suicide specials, Merwin & Hulberts, S&Ws, Colt New Services, Winchester leverguns, etc
But I would go with my
My unholy trifecta:
Colt SAA 4 3/4" nickel w pearl grips in 99% condition made in 1903

Winchester 94 in 30 WCF made in 1903
Winchester 1897 12 Gauge made in 1903

For a modern repro, my Hand of God (USFA w CCH and engraving done by Gary Reeder and grips by Outlaw Grips. Joe Perkins made the same set for 3:10 to Yuma)

What I'd love to pick up:
Merwin & Hulbert Pocket Army w skull crusher grip frame in 44 WCF
1873 Winchester in 32 WCF that's sitting in my local Cabella's
Chicago Palm Protector

This Too, with that new cartridge conversion.

And, of course, this. The Quigley is nice, and it makes me moist. But there is just something to the stipled pistol grip stock.

That. I love break-top revolvers. I wish they were feasible in more modern cartridges, though.

the revolver was cool, but the lever action has more ballistic terminal stopping power.  but the best had to be the canon.
