I always figured their updates were bullshit and just done to give them a chance to push some shitty antivirus or tool bar.

The only problem with CCleaner I've ever had is that it cleans Too Much from the computer.
Oh, I like the way it deleted over 10,000 obsolete files and whatnot the last time I ran it.
But many of them were Internet addresses I go to Every day.
If it would leave Some stuff it would be so much better.

Downloaded it several hours ago.
I like CCleaner (free version) as part of my computer support system.

Been using it for years.  I like running it on computers for the first time and am always amazed at how many gigabytes it frees up.  I like the registry cleaner function too

You can customize, even with the free version, what it cleans from browsers.  I leave out history and saved passwords, and have never had a problem with the address bar not autofilling when I go to my usual suspects.

I've been using Glary Utilities instead of CCleaner for the last 2-3 years.  I'll have to give CCleaner another look, but Glary has given me no real reason to switch back.
