Jetbeam WL-S2 from Battery Junction. Seven modes, 900 lumens max, runs on CR123, 16340, 18650, and even AA!
Grab one today! I think the code cpf2010 saves another 5 percent, might be some other codes out there as well. |
|
What's the build quality feel like?
I have to ration myself on guns, ammo, knives, and flashlights ... but next year's ration is coming quickly!!!! |
|
|
I've been using Jetbeam for years.
So far, I'm a huge fan. The build quality is great, and I find the value to be top notch. |
|
I blew my nut on 3- Streamlight Poly's and a game spotter at PSA today.

Just what I was looking for, Thanks OP!!! Just pulled the trigger on 5 of them plus 2 dozen 123's. Great stocking stuffers. Discount code worked too. Arfcom has cost me a divorce and a shitload of moneyI love it!!!

Would this be ok as a gun light for a truck gun? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I'm hoping to be impressed by these lights, they look all tactical an shitI have a surefire 300ultra as a weapon light and it is unbelievably bright, so I am curious what 900 lumens does in the barnyard

View Quote I prefer Jetbeam to Fenix, but I think Jetbeam is usually generous (compared to Fenix) with their lumen ratings, based on reviews of a couple lights I've read. Quality is comparable between the two, but I prefer the look of the Jetbeam lights. I have an RRT0 that I've owned for years and it's had no issues being dropped, submerged or run through the wash. They are GTG, and I've always been a die hard SF fan boy. |

I guess with seven modes it will keep someone occupied playing with it for a while. Not me.
|
|
I bought so many flashlights last year I still have a dozen in the box and I gave out about 15 as presents.
There were some screaming deals last year. |

Interesting battery compatibility. View Quote Indeed - The description says you need the WL-S1 tube to use AA batteries. Does it come with that tube? I searched the site for it, only came up with a WL-S1 light. I also have the Fenix PD35, which looks exactly like it. The battery compatibility is interdasting. ETA: Will it tail stand? The PD35 is also an awesome light, I have the 2014 edition but it doesn't tail stand. http://www.fenixoutfitters.com/fenix-pd35-led-flashlight-2014-edt/?gclid=CLqc9rOQ0sICFcGPMgodlgIAYw |

In all honesty, nothing beats a good quality super bright flashlight. Picked mine up for around $70. That's less than half the cost for a Surefire and twice as bright. I've dropped mine so many times I've lost count. Looks like crap now but functions flawlessly. Also, with a flashlight costing me so much I'm less likely to lose it |
