Watch out for random lines just standing around the pways. Was a favorite thing to on my first ship LKA 117. Learn what a main spave fire drill is and why it isnt smart to be in your berthing during one, esp is berthing is over the main space.

When I went saw doctor after they took my blood and urine test. He tripped up the guy in front of me. Asked if he did drugs, and told him it's ok to
Just be honest. Also don't mention any injuries during your physical. |

He did do that, didn't he? If not, say "no" to everything unless a positive answer is better. Examples : Do you use drugs? No have you had surgery? No do you have a sense of smell? Yes. On a very serious note. They will threaten you with jail time for falsifying information. I'm not saying lie, because, in all honesty, your recruiter should have properly pre-screened you for every question you'll get asked. But, MEPS is that place where, if you don't tell them, and you didn't tell your recruiter or put it down on your sf86, they don't know. If you lied on your sf86, and your job requires a secret or higher, you're fucked. |

when you get there in the morning, make sure ask for the foul line and see if they have your cards at the mail buoy.
Just kidding. One word of advice, do not let them shanghai you in the Liason Office. I scored high on the ASVAB and they started off offering me Yeoman and then Hull Technician. I wanted Aviation and demanded it. They then went to Aviation Aircrew riggers. I was closer, but wanted to work with aircraft. They gave me Aviation Apprenticeship. It was the best thing I could have gotten. |
