Yeah, I'm struggling with this tank too. Every match seems to be 9 & 10's and I don't have it fully upgraded. Long grind without a premium account.

I also have the same issue with the IS-3. Never get a match where I'm on tier in that thing either.



 

You're not playing it right... tell me you're not using that top piece of shit gun. That top gun hits like a freight train, but has terrible aimtime, and a reload measured on a calendar!

T44 is a good tank, but you have to use your speed, fast reload, and accurate gun. In top tier rounds, yeah, beat an ass or two.

Even in tier 9 games you're a dangerous little shit.

Tier 10 games, be a sneaky little shit and finish off damaged enemies.

Hey, last night I was in the Cromwell on Stalingrad, came around a corner into an unspotted WT (The tier 8 one) and got splattered. One shot. I did t even spot him. Just dead. Team lost too.

Kharkov map in my E100 on north spawn.  Driving down the main road towards enemy spawn with a VK45b, Obj. 140, and T62a. They didn't put shit on the main road but they did have tanks at the main 4-way intersection.  I'm at the corner shooting shit when the VKb, obj. 140 and t62a decide to abandon me against a fucking Waffle E100, Obj. 268, and a T30 for no reason whatsoever.  I was fucking done after that.  Fucking retarded cunts.

Come on now, I am not the common mouth breathing retard that plays WoT. I am using the LB-1. I skipped researching the 122mm but have everything else researched. The mobility on the tank is great, it's the gun that is shit. And the glass ammo rack. Well the gun is pretty accurate and has a fairly quick aim time but the shell velocity is slow and 175 AP pen is garbage. I can't even pen a KV4's tumor unless I load APCR.

This is how I play it: At the start of the match I will pretty much look for spots because you can't really do anything else with it. Sometimes I can counter enemy scouts as well. By the mid game I am headed out looking to flank other mediums or distracted heavies. After that is cleanup if I am still alive. I have gotten some good bounces off the front plate but basically everything will pen me. Top tier it's a great tank. But against tier 9 heavies or strong mediums it's basically worthless unless you can get around them and I mostly get destroyed trying. Tier 10? Forget it. I have bounced off the rear of tier 10 heavies and their sides and some mediums as well. If I am close I can pick off their weak spots. I don't shoot much APCR because I lose money just about every time I play it without slinging a bunch of APCR. If I am wolf packing with a good player or two I do much better but that doesn't happen much in pub matches. I am probably just going to free XP the T-54 because I am done playing this POS. I have had a couple good games where I am top of the list for dmg (One game was 3400ish dmg, one was 2500ish) but most games I am lucky to do my HP in dmg.

So when you guys get aggravated at WoT what do you play? I looked at world of ships but it really doesn't interest me, neither does armored warfare.  Something not a FPS for sure, more strat and less twitch.

How about choose your own adventure? May I suggest fallout or skyrim?

I have skyrim, played it about half an hour. Not much into those types of games. I liked the old hex based war strat games but those have gone the way of the dodo and the old versions are difficult to get running in new OS's.

Don't like Skyrim? Might I suggest backgammon ?

I watch tv, listen to music, surf forums, etc.

I mostly play a match when it's slow at work so other than web surfing the rest of that is kind of off the table. Kind of why I would like a turn based game as well.



 

Played it a good bit when it came out. Local internet cafe/LAN cafe had it and we would play it a good bit. It's still available on steam but I can't imagine what it looks like.



 

That moment when arty is the best player on either team... Would have had top gun, but our ever so helpful M41 HMC stole my last kill.

My clan mate was watching his live stream. I typed stop camping. Clanate said he lost his shit and put up his smoke break sign. Lmao

Elite Dangerous on the Oculus Rift is IMPRESSIVE! You can get so immersed in that game that you sometimes forget that you're not flying a spaceship. That thing really tricks your brain.

Star Citizen is okay, but Elite is HUGE. I have been tooling around the galaxy and FYI: The Galaxy is *NOT* small. Even though you have Faster Than Light drives, it still took me the better part of a week jumping from system to system trying to get to Sagittarius A (The black hole at the center of the Galaxy.)

I went past it and saw what I think was an alien ship, but when I got close it took off.

Any chance I get, I troll the Europlebs in Elite too. They seem to have some kind of gay love affair with Socialism/Communism. Don't really understand why, I mean that shit was on their fucking doorstep for sixty years, but they really like it. So they try to get the good systems under Commie control and they do so in the equivalent of a KV4 and I'm driving a Object 140. (They like the Cobra Mk3 and I like the Viper or the Diamondback because they're far more maneuverable, and the Viper is a dedicated fighter)

Anyway, they'll be trying to destabilize systems or incite rebellions, and I'll pull in there and absolutely rape, pillage, rob, and rape. They accuse me of cheating because I use all six axis of movement and also have an Oculus, which is a huge advantage. The game features roll, pitch, yaw, and thrust along the vertical axis, I guess should be called climb and decend? and also there's slide right/left.

I'm sure you know how I like to stir up trouble with people who take themselves too seriously, well, I'll regularly have these Europlebs crying. Killed three of them in their shit tier Cobras at the same time twice tonight, then when they thought they were safe after respawning and again trying to shit up a good, stable system, I ran cold (Basically running s you don't show up on radar) snuck up on them, and shot out one of their cockpits (Basically exposing their pilot to space, which is BAD because you *HAVE TO* get back to a station as your life support in your spacesuit is pretty limited) and crippled the engines of another as I minigunned the cockpit trashed Europleb into catfood before he could escape. The last guy started a turning fight he couldn't win, so I beat up his jump drive, then his engines, and his other functionals and began berating him in the way of the Holy Tyman (Blessed be his fuck) until he self destructed out of frustration.

The last guy was a fucking German too. Started howling "Flicken ZE! Hummen, Auffen zilchen auf!" or some shit as I raped him. They must have logged back in on soloplay after that or ragequit. I hope I'm why he is beating the fuck out of his dog right now.

Because no one uses it. Everyone who plays for  competition uses xvm. The only thing I know of it is, the higher the number, generally, the better the player. I do like the accuracy stats, best match ever stats. Those are all kinda neat on a personal level. The overall just seems better rated by xvm.

It's a mod that sends that message to your platoon mates automatically. (only platoon mates see it) don't see much use for it. could eb deactivating it

Its a mod called battle assistant. If you use OdemMortis Mod pack, its in that somewhere. It comes in handy.
I hate playing tanks that don't have 6th sense. If I had it, I may could have gotten the 8th kill on that SU100Y.
