Thank you Fluffy The Cat and Dean's Gun Restorations for coming through and help in getting my son's M1 Carbine rebuilt for Christmas!!!!!!!!
A brand new Criterion barrel head spaced with a black walnut stock.

I was happy that the rifle was in such excellent condition, but sad that the barrel was replaced. Since they never used corrosive ammunition, the carbine barrels held up extraordinarily well in use. In my experience, it's kind of rare to find them without the original barrels. This one, not so much, but in order to stay functional, the history of the original barrel and receiver combo had to be ended. It's a beautiful piece. Happy shooting! |
