When Johnny and the gang corner Daniel after he ruins their Halloween joint. Mr. Miyagi jumps in out of nowhere and whips all of their asses by the chain link fence. |

I'm nominating the Sonny/Carlo beat down in "one".
A classic. |

View Quote You could pick ANY of Daniel's run-ins with Johnny and the gang - especially the bike-down-the-cliff scene, but I agree 100% that this one (before Miyagi san shows up) was one-sided as a motherfucker. Remember, he woke up out of a coma with Miyagi singing slave hymnals over his broken body and shit. He was fucked up. DONT FUCK WITH KARATE DUDES IN SKELETON COSTUMES |

The most sickening has got to be in Irreversible where a guy in a gay bar gets his head repeatedly caved in by a fire extinguisher. IIRC it's shot in one long take and looks far too real for me. View Quote More like beat to death but.......... Everything here is TOTAL weak sauce compared to that scene. Definitely one of the most brutal films ever made. |

The bar fight from Knockaround Guys is another great one.

The whole portion of the film where Jesus is being beaten silly in "The Passion of the Christ" was pretty brutal, or at least I remember it to be.

Those scenes are pretty hard to watch, and movie violence doesn't usually bother me. |

I wish I could un-see that piece, as it's absolutely the most brutal scene ever put to film. |
