Mine isn't that good at the moment, she goes crazy whenever she is left alone (we just had our other dog put down so before that they were always together). Puppy for her? (It could have been her present but I think you waited to long to find just the right puppy for the holidays) I like grown dogs for adoption. We will probably get a rescue dog after our cruise in Feb, that will give it 6 months to get settled before the baby is due. Would it be better to wait til after the baby, so the baby is already part of the established pack? Depends on the dog, really. right. |

Ok, my wine glass is empty and I hear crying, I should probably get back to the kitchen.

Probably, but it's tough to deal with a newborn and a new dog at the same time. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

You could hire a dogsitter. |

Just make sure you get one that's been fostered for a while and has tested ok with kids. You got any specific breeds in mind? Nope, probably a mutt, something medium sized (30-60lb) Great Dog Rescue New England, MSPCA, and Animal Rescue League of Boston all seem to have foster programs and some sort of behavioral screening. Also lots of cute dags. |

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas. Is there a blizzard there? In Texas? Texas has blizzards, just not by the coast Does a hurricane count as a blizzard? Give me almost any blizzard over hurricanes |

It's too bad you couldn't get one from the HMS Cockchafer. that would be epic I do like the story of the ship it's from, only ship of the line to take part in both the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 and the war of 1812. The RN do have some cool names for ships. |

In case anyone missed it earlier in the week, the 24/365 thread currently account for 1.5% of all the posts ever made on Arfcom. I find that pleasantly ironic. It was the original purpose, way back when... Sometimes it takes longer to met your goal when you are making the effort |

That's the way to move another page. I switched from my tablet to laptop. I think I got confused about what page we were on. You get confused easily. I cover it by drinking. We could not tell, not at all. |

Probably won't do it again. Sometimes to get what you want you have to pony up the cash. But I love all of the rescues we have had over the years |

It is very tough for me to eat good at the moment - wife has worse food cravings than either of the other times she was pregnant, if she could live on a diet of donuts, bread, and chocolate she would do. View Quote Pregnant with our oldest and only boy equaled the worst cravings. He should have popped out as a Braun's brownie sundae or a Quarter Pounder. |
