Should be able to build a M4 clone after Christmas. Think I might be getting some lower parts for Christmas. Already have upper assembled. Guy at work wants to trade me a 14.5" P/W barrel for a spare 20" HBAR barrel I have. (Which, whatever. I'm not going to talk him out of it. ) Thinking about an EOthingy 512 for optic. Might have to buy another flip up rear BUIS for my other rifle so I can take the MATECH BUIS off of it. Then I'm gonna need some KAC RAS rails. http://i.imgur.com/Tr6vrlj.gif Primary Arms micro dot is going to have to ride in place of the EOthingy for now. Although a TA01NSN would be much better. |

They work for me. They're definitely not special, but I like mine. (Unless you have a Gen 1, 2 or a G18.) I still I think that a CZ 75B needs to be in my collection, but so much other stuff I want more. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Special runs of cerakote upper/lower or slides/frames would sell like hot cakes if just for the novelty alone. |

A guy brought it with him. Slide was extremely easy to cycle by hand. Barely had any recoil or muzzle rise from what I observed. |

I wasn't gonna talk you out of it, but in the future I'm going with Aimpoints, much as I love my Eotech It's not much more expensive and the battery life is much, much better. Plus from what I've read here, Aimpoint seems to be more durable than EOthingy. I've just always liked the EOthingy's reticule a little better. |

I've just always liked the EOthingy's reticule a little better. the reticle on the Eotech is best, everything else is a win for Aimpoint. As far as reliability, just look at the design, its obvious why Aimpoints are more reliable. That being said Eotechs aren't that bad, plenty of em have survived a deployment. |
