For the last ten years, I have bought fifties-early sixties era Zenith
tabletop radios, paid to have them refurbished, and then given them to friends and family members. I like surprising folks with something unexpected and nice; everyone loves the sound. That was when Zenith made the world's best radios right here in the USA. |

I love genealogy and everything related, I got the bug from my mother and grandmother. I can read and transcribe the writing from most any document written in pre and early america from the 1700s until now. I collect and restore old photos, I then try and find who the people were and then do the genealogy for them and hunt for living relitives so I can get the photos into their hands.
I do normal stuff like mt bikeing, hiking, climbing and shooting guns. |

I like fixing stuff. Doesn't really matter what it is as long as it is mechanical. Electronics are voodoo to me. I can use them but have no ideal what makes them tick.
I also like to build useful things out of junk. I have had to put a limit on it though because I was always dragging stuff home that " might be useful for something someday". About to get back into making knives. I'll never be as good as a true bladesmith but it is relaxing. I have made one fairly nice fixed blade from an old file and a few ulus from old circular saw blades. |

They are not as hard as some make it out to be. All I do anymore is feed them. Once you set up a good terrarium with a supreme climate control system, all you have to do is clean once a month, fill the water pool if it gets dirty, and throw in 2 crickets per red eye every other day. Dart frogs are fed wingless fruit flies (or fruit walks as I jokingly call them (I have a terribly dry sense of humor)). These frogs are non-poisonous unless you feed them the insects indigenous to their home jungles. |

Nothing to crazy.
Got a side by side. I raced quads for years still like it but don't have the time like I did when I was single and no family. Rc cars. I get joy from the hobby since I like working on shit. Other little things come and go but those are main two other than shooting, firearm comps, firearm training, and guns. |
