I don't believe they even had enough bandwidth and hardware on the lander to send video back in 1979. I think a single picture took many minutes to stream back.

Yeah, and plenty of current NASA employees believe that anthropogenic global warming will destroy the earth in the next few decades. What's new?
ETA: Wow! I just listened to the audio. The "expert" said that, after a 24-hour acclimatization period, you can walk around on the moon without a space suit and that the guys were our guys doing repairs on the Viking rover. Coast to Coast AM wins again! |

Neither Viking lander was able to send video. Even consecutive pictures strung together would not resemble video.

A woman named "Jackie," who claims to be a former NASA employee, called Coast to Coast AM in the U.S. She claimed she had seen evidence of two human figures walking towards the Viking lander on Mars in 1979. View Quote I found the problem. |

You wanna read some crazy alien shit....look up the camelot project....can't remember the peoples names.....but, they have lots of stuff like "evidence" of aliens, people who were there, man.....and shit like the superman project....

I found the problem. Coast to Coast AM is hard science... And funny as hell when working overnights. I listen to it almost nightly. I love when folks call in obviously beyond baked and get on the air. |

So... she says it was a rover and that it was "roving around". The only problem is that it was a lander, not a rover. Also, as others have pointed out - getting video from this using 70's tech is questionable.
If you are going to make a bullshit story up - do a little fucking research. |

It's all true. I have the transcript uploaded right here. http://youtu.be/ee3bld4lTG0

Proof right here, although the "ex nasa employee is incorrect in her assertion that she saw the "viking rover" moving around since viking wasn't a rover. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e8/Sagan_Viking.jpg View Quote It turns out he "Live Video Feed" she was watching was PBS and none of the NASA nerds had the heart to tell Linda "Big Jugs" McGee that she was watching a television, not one of the monitors displaying data from the lander. |

Obviously the moon landings were fake. They were filmed at a movie studio located on Mars.

I'm a former NASA employee, and you would not believe some of the things I saw in the 70's

This is what happens when they let them out of the nervous hospital for the holidays.

D*mn, I knew she saw us. I told my buddy that it was a bad hour to be walking around on the surface.
