I joined the army to meet interesting people from a ancient culture, and kill them, but only on weekends.

Seal off a few city blocks. Anyone involved in criminal activity gets dumped there. Give them their Arkham City and let them live in their filth and refuse. They can all live in their looting, vandalizing, burning down the town glory with no assistance or emergency services from the rest of civilized society. When it's all a pile of ash and they're eating rats, maybe they will have a little more respect for civilization and the rule of law that comes with it.

I would've started by making the announcement at 7 AM instead of 9 PM.  I would have also maybe waited for a colder day.  It was 70 degrees here in VA that night.  It was 30 the week before.

And then after that?  I have no idea.  It would have been nice to have some Apaches hovering around the area for recon to just feed information about where mobs are going and follow them around.  Arresting as necessary.  Tazing as necessary.  Trying very hard to avoid loss of life.

Remember you are dealing with humans who have an average IQ of about 90.  

Brute force is the only thing they understand and respect.  

The rooftop Koreans proved, during the Rodney King riots, that they WILL respect lethal force.

If the police and national guard had shot about 10-15 of these animals, I guarantee you the rioting would have stopped pronto.  

But, no, it's better to let them burn and pillage and loot.  

For now they are burning down their own neighborhoods.

But what happens in the future in this country when they start organizing better and moving into lily white neighborhoods?
