Danish m84 camo - adopted in (as the name suggests) in 1984.

It's similar to German flecktarn, but with different coloration, and was adopted a year before flecktarn was.

At about 15 or 16, the shorter one. Working a Ricks hamburgers in Alabama. Back when teens got the jobs that adults want a "living wage" to do. That whole place was run by teenagers sometimes.

'86 Nighthawk S 700. My first bike, I bought it in '88. I had put thousands of miles on it and it was looking a bit ragged around the edges when that picture was taken. It was my only transportation for several years. I also had a Supertrapp on it. It looked more like this when I bought it:

I like those bikes. Back in the 70's, pre-vtwin era, it was a fun time to ride. It wasn't a midlife crisis fad (not that there is anything wrong with that, I had one) and you could just ride for the fun of it.

My boyfriend at the time had a Yamaha 500 twin. We rode that thing, 2 up, all up and down the east coast. If you talk to people today, they think things like that just can't be done with an engine any smaller than at the very least 1000cc.

Then we got the Yamaha 750, with a drive shaft. It was like a Cadillac!
