What about this looks appealing to druggies? I can understand getting drunk. I can understand smoking pot. I can even get why people enjoy cocaine, meth, and related drugs. But this shit?

Salvia was pretty popular when I was in high school because it was completely legal at the time. I never tried it but witnessed being it smoked plenty of times, they just laughed for a few minutes and that was it.

Salvia can be an extremely dissociative drug, as in his mind is not on Earth anymore.

Usually you just sit on the couch and not go anywhere like the girl, but sometimes you get terrible hallucinations and try to run away or something.

Most people only do it once, as even the good hallucinations can be extremely powerful. Its the real life equivalent of taking the 'red pill' in the Matrix.
