We just got home and got my son to bed, so I wanted to thank everyone that made this weekend possible. Y'all did a hell of a job and made one happy little man. He asked me today if we could go back to Cola Warrior next Sunday. He also had to tell us that he was a Cola Warrior now about every 15 minutes or so for the ride home.

It's amazing to me how something like this comes together. You've got a group of people that rag all over each other online, but it's like old friends around a campfire. The concept is so crazy, but does so much good. Hell, Cola Warrior is what motivated me to start getting back into shape and my wife is already talking about going back to weekly range trips. It's easy to lie to yourself and say you've still got it, but the obstacles, the run, the shooting, and the chug kick you in the nuts with the steel-toed boot of truth.

So once again to Surveyor, Crow, Trojy, Snakeskin, P_more and anyone else I'm forgetting, thank you so much. Thanks to all of the sponsors too, but I will post in their forums and let them know I appreciate it with future orders.

Mad props to your young Cola Warrior. It was awesome that he came up to me a little while after his run to tell me he beat Sylvan and show me his tattoo. Cool kid and he was very respectful/nice to my boy.

Super excited for my boy to be old enough to run after seeing that.

Good to meet you too. He's all business when you decides to do something. We told him tonight that there will be other kids after his title next time, so I know he's going to be asking me to set up a mini Cola Warrior course here so he can train.

That tire is going to get it next time. What "it" is remains to be seen.

I really didn't expect them to go all out like that for him to run. I was just going to run him through the obstacles really quickly when everyone was done. Having the mini obstacles set up was awesome. Those guys went above and beyond what I ever expected.

Thanks again to the organizers, and the awesome sponsors. After I took this picture I promptly went out and installed the rail, THANK YOU GEISSLE. Thanks to ESSTAC for the pouch, SKD for the patches, and Magpul for the pmag. Also thanks to Surveyors buddy that did the food, I must've had 2 lbs of barbeque Friday night.

I had a decent run going, my feet slipped about 3ft from touching the branch, and my arms were too gassed to finish it. Then took the 30 minute penalty on the chug.

Star of the show. I'm really glad you brought him, and I hope we get more of that kind of thing in future events. I personally have never been married or had any kids, but everyone else setting this up does. I hope going forward we get more of them involved, because getting them young is key, and ultimately we're a great big extended family spread across North America anyways (seriously...I can't even say "U.S." One of my favorite CW's is some bagged-milk drinking weirdo up in America's hat.)

I just figured it out -- the low crawl is an electric fence, isn't it?

Yep. We'll lower it next year, but I got a much stronger charger than I ordered.

Make it low enough so that Shedevil can't walk under it, OK?

lol...it'll be a real deal low crawl with a twist next year.

Yeah, we'll be back next year.

You guys are some great people, and it was super awesome to hang out with you all, short as it was.

I will lift heavy things, and make that caber my wench next year. And also get a pistol that can handle being dunked in Cheerwine

I think getting rid of the vertical rope would definitely make it harder - you should do that.

I mean, TrojanMan is telling everyone how easy it is, so it should be replaced with something hard, like placing something fragile onto a really tall shelf or something.
