Rubbermaid containers is a good idea, though...

So I'm remembering now why I hate moving- packing sucks! I have too much stuff.

YEP!  Thankfully, ish, for whenever I move to my own place........... most of my stuff is still in boxes!

Hope your move goes smoothly

I just had to buy a bunch of new boxes. You'd think that, as transient as I've been for the past few years, I'd have already shucked out the cash for Rubbermaid containers... But I only just bought them.

Now comes the fun part of filling them! I don't have a closet here, so most of my clothes are neatly stacked and arranged in chaotic piles of "clean", "dirty", or "not sure".  It was so much easier when I lived in a North Florida swamp and I just burned all my stuff in the backyard before moving.

I did the garbage bag-suitcase thing when I moved up here. It was mostly just to protect stuff from the snow though. I moved here a year ago yesterday...

Eh, it's moving from a town outside of Phoenix, to somewhere in Phoenix.. not too far.  I'll live with the garbage bag transportation of linens, haha

Yeah, same here this time. My new house is only like 6 miles from here in a straight line. It's funny that I've been so close to Free America for a year, but couldn't live there.

Indeed. That's why all my "relationships" are billed hourly.

Yep. I made a thread all about it- mostly just hating on DC (a mostly righteous endeavor, I think).

I will make a note to ask him next time I go in.

Probably be in a week or two.  Since he said he won't do the leg thing I am not hesitating so much about going in to get worked on and shoulders and neck have been giving me a hard time since I started school - working on notes and homework has me ending up "scrunching" more than I should.

Yeah, Dr. Groper used to do it all the time for my ankle/hip/knee..  Yanked me by the foot.

Ankle had been hurting me for a while before I went to see new Dr. last time but I had kept holding off on going in because still I felt so old since the last time I got the tremors/whatever and didn't think I would be able to deal with it but when I told new Dr. I had held off on coming in because of it he said he would never do it if I didn't like it.

He did.  Had me plant that foot on the ground and step forward and backwards with the other foot while he squeezed around on bad ankle.

Was weird but felt better right away.
And no flashbacks.  Made it much better.

We actually made so much spaghetti and meatballs tonight that we have run out of garlic cloves.

Not to mention, that picture doesn't do justice to the amount of gypsies and hippies whom have converged upon my home this evening.

I'll snap another pic that better describes the situation in a moment.
