I have a chance to save only a little bit more for my ccw carry piece and am not shooting my rifle that much now days but will be keeping it and selling the rail i have. will need to save only a smidge for a deal here to finish and my gun but i might be joining the army and will be gone for 3 months. my wife is going to get her carry permit so she will be carrying.. what do, if this made any sense Do you even English, bro? I'm guessing you're trying to decide between buying a carry pistol and finishing your rifle? Too tired to finish but yes this is what I am asking. Since taking my ccw i am a little more vigilant and aware is all. Do you just need a rail to finish off your rifle? |

View Quote Buy a decent carry piece, make sure the wife knows how to use it and is good with it. I'd start with a Glock G19 (even though I hate Glocks), or something else in that price range, like a Smith M&P, or something like that. You can always snag a rail later, or find one used on the EE. Just my opinion though, I could be wrong... Edited -er, meant wife, not GF...unless you have a GF too..in which case, you sure as hell better be armed, cause one of 'em is going to want your soul one day |

This is the first time I've been happy to be in DC! Just got done with my 28 day stay in NJ.
Please!... Never again! I'll gladly take more oil fields before going to NJ again. |

I can make great pizza or pasta at home, anywhere... Without the weather, people, or driving-habits of New Jersey. Did you go all beta while driving? Not at all; I learned to drive in Jax, FL... I can out drive the best of 'em. I just hate the way no one in NJ knows how to "mesh" into traffic when they merge. That, and the highway layouts are mostly retarded. |

I can't remember if I clarified my position in that thread... I'm not paranoid about GMO foods, I just don't like that they've monopolized the commercial seed business. Monsanto literally owns farming now. |

And inbev has a monopoly on imported beers that's what happens when you are better then your competitors. Shit most cat food is made by the same company and one company makes 30% of all laptops. |

So back on October 24th, they told me "Hey! You've got to go work in New Jersey for about 5 days. It'll be an easy job." Well, 1 month later, I came back to DC last night (with the 5-day pack I originally took with me). Now I have to go back for about 4 more days starting this Saturday.
I requested 9 days of PTO to go back to Florida, starting this Saturday, two months ago. This is the only PTO request I've made in 3 years. This is fucking bullshit!!! I want my fucking vacation!!!!! |

I see your point in that, but I suppose my lack of respect for authority fuels my distaste for monopolies. They got so huge that they have just started buying all of their competition- more power to 'em I guess.. But I don't like losing the ability to choose, whether it's what I eat or how many bullets my magazine can hold. That, plus you can't use their crop's seeds to replant next year on some of their plants- you have to keep buying the seeds. All that now being said, can we please not turn the NC into one of the awful Monsanto threads?? |
