Thought it was pretty cool.  Dunno anything about guns like this though.

That trailer of freedom makes my metal lock box of freedom seem so inadequate.

I rarely see something this neat on the road.

Usually it's just landscaping and lawn equipment.

The occasional drag car or rusty project.

Never a fucking cannon.

Last year I went with my kids to Home Depot and I saw a few M88A2's across the street loaded on some rail cars. I started grunting and hopping in my seat. My kids said "WTF?"

Clearly an AK-47.  Better hide your kids before it shoots them!

Winner.

The truck had a sticker/magnet on the door that said Civil War Reenactors.

Saw a train that was loaded with self-propelled howitzers and what I guess is their support vehicles on flat cars just the other night.  Gave me a bit of a boner.

No pics, since I don't want to end up in Gitmo.

+1

Some enthusiats/collectors brought two of them to one of our Boy Scout Jamborees when I was an Asst. Scoutmaster.

Used aluminum foil wadded up into a ball propelled by a bunch of black powder. Very cool.

Maybe a 3" ordnance rifle?

A an acquaintance from work who has an 1841 cannon (replica). 12 pounder I think.  He shoots it in NSSA competition.  He does not apparently participate in other re-enactor groups,
Also met a guy who made his barrel from an old plate mill work roll from USS Homestead.  He may have used the lathes at the mill to cut it down and tree pan it too.
I have thought about trying this to make a 3" ordnance rifle, from an old/scrapped forged work roll.  Would have to weld on the trunions, and build the carriage.  They can be bought too

Looks like a Parrot Rifle.  They had a hasty habit of bursting.  I think the range was about 5 miles.
