Finally. What a crock of shit. Obama- zero influence on his release. Wouldn't be surprised if feds want to quarantine him for 21 days.

This whole episode shows the CIC really don't give a damn about the military. I know its just one person but it was a big glaring example. Not once did he say anything about pressuring the Mex gov to let the Marine go. Pathetic.

That is my suspicion, he has been caught lying about what happened at the initial stop, tried to escape, seems like he was violating a bunch of state firearms laws and supposedly kind of BSed about what signs there are warning about the border checkpoint View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I realize that he served 2 tours in Afghanistan and received an honorable discharge in 2012, but why do many people think that Obama can just
pick up a phone and have the guy released inside a day? Phone calls like that should be reserved for those servicemen that go above and beyond the call of duty. People like Bowe Bergdahl. As Shawn Vanity has said, "Bowe Bergdahl is a great American!" That's why Obama traded 5 Taliban terrorists with American blood on their hands for Sergeant Bergdahl. Thanks Obama! |

People have gotten royally fucked over for having a spent shotgun hull in the bed of their pickup crossing the border. Yep, no outcry of injustice, no demanding action from Congress. I feel bad the guy had to sit there as long as he did, but from the get go, I've been bothered that the only reason the story got traction is his being a Marine. ETA: No disrespect meant to any military members, but he wasn't in uniform, and was acting as a civilian when he was arrested in Mexico. Imagine if I did the same thing, a headline of "Retail Employee Arrested With Illegal Guns in Mexico" would get laughed away, and public consensus without details would be I was probably running guns illegally. |

Any kind of link to this statement? He lied about how many times he had been in Tijuana before when he was questioned. I guess there is no proof he had guns those times. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/05/28/marine-held-in-mexico-set-to-tell-his-story-to-judge/ |
