Rarely. Been thinking about a pair of rattlesnake boots lately though for semi-formal occasions.

All the time. No I'm not a cowboy, and no I don't wear anything snip or round toed.

Of course since I live in Texas. In fact that's all I'm wearing right now |

I own two pair. Justin and Larry Mahan. Justins for everyday wear and LMs for church or dressing up.
I'm a teacher and the Justin's have a nice thick rubber sole and they are so comfortable. They also wear nice in the field. I wear them pretty much every where. A quick wipe down with a wet rag and some Bick 4 and they are ready for Monday. |

All day today.....all day tomorrow......all day Sunday.

I wear cowboy boots when I'm going to be on a horse. If I'm not riding I really don't like wearing them. Sure the shit wont wear them as a fashion statement.

I've got a pair of fairly subdued Ariats that I'll wear from time to time. They're comfortable and look pretty cool. By no means do I intend to be confused with an actual working bull rider. Nor do I pretend to be a soldier from the 80's when I lace up my Corcoran boots. It's just footwear.

No distinction between cowboy boots and work boots? I wear work boots everyday during the week, sometimes on the weekends. And sometimes wear cowboy boots when I'm not working to look at little nicer. I need to find a new pair of cowboy boots. Unfortunately it seems the fashion gods have deemed that almost all boots these days should have the squared toes which I hate.

Every fuckin day when I'm not at work. Don't give a damn what anyone thinks either. In fact, I might buy another pair tomorrow. Every time you buy a pair of boots an arfcommer wets his britches.

no. my foot is shaped weird and I could never find a pair that were comfortable.

Four pair of custom made boots. Supremely comfortable. Shark skin, two cowhide, one horsehide...just like bedroom slippers.

I don't wear spurs anymore, but I do wear cowboy boots every day. Here's a pair of Anderson Beans kickin' the pedals on a Cessna Ag Truck. |

I wear Red Wing Pecos wellingtons at work every other day. That's as close as I get to cowboy boots.

Not since I was a kid. I am looking to get some for working in if anyone has any recommendations My faggoty tennis shoes don't quite cut it when cutting wood. The laces get caught on brush. Also I think they would be good for gardening. Wouldn't have dirt getting in my shoes while tilling. View Quote I use these for yard work, cutting wood, kicking mole hills down before mowing etc. Waterproof, and no complaints from me. Justin Work Boots (Stampede) |

Only when I am on horseback and in stirrups.... Other than that, you are a sidewalk cowboy.

Quoted: LOL this poll is done every 90 days. View Quote No shit. I wish the haters would just leave it alone. It seems that many may struggle with a real desire to wear them, but just can't let themselves for some reason. Wear them if you like them. Or wear tactical swat booties, or tennis or running shoes, or whatever else you like. Life is too short to worry about strangers' opinions concerning your choice of shoes. When I was a little boy, I LIVED in cowboy boots. Now that I'm an old dude, I still love them. I'm not a cowboy. I grew up watching western shows on television, so it's no surprise to me that a younger generation may not have the same love for them. And if you buy cowboy boots, for God's sake buy some that were made in the U.S.A. |
|
I have plenty of times. They pretty much suck hammered shit unless you are riding a horse or sitting in a bar.
