I've done OK. For one of my brothers it was easier to blame everything on "the divorce" that happened in 1973 than to buck up and take responsibility for his life. It's never easy, but you have to make a decision that your life is going to go on in spite of other people's bad decisions. If it makes y'all feel better, I blame all my problems on my parents' staying together.
That's what my wife and I did to our kids.
