Lawsuit to try and overturn the ban is still working its way through the courts. Hopefully next Wednesday we have a new governor. |

As of Wednesday, the polls here showed a dead heat, 43% to 43% between the existing shitbag (Malloy) and Foley, the Republican challenger.
If Foley wins, the law is unlikely to change, but if Malloy wins, he is likely to try to push further laws. |

Since we (presumably) have three co-equal branches of government, could the executive branch refuse to enforce a law passed by the legislature?
Could the governor order all LE agencies not to enforce? |
