The old guy sitting at the fast food place with a pic of his wife got me thinking....
How many men here really love their wife? Like that guy. I voted with the "unconditionally" option |
Even though we're very different people, she's the love of my life and I let her know it every day. |
I adore, cherish, and love my wife to my core. 30+ years and counting.
we've been married 30 years, quite happily, looking forward to the next 30

Me. I've been in love with my wife since 1982, can't imagine life without her.

"Love" is an easy word to bandy about. It's hard to define exactly what it means. I've been married 36 years (as of yesterday!) and I don't use the word "love" too much. Actions are more important than words. Let's just say I've gotten used to her and all her quirks.

Unconditionally.
My wife is my best friend, too. We've been married 15 years. |
Better question is how do you think your wives would answer
I see a couple people have voted with the "cheaper to keep her" option
Unconditional...high school sweethearts, married 32 years, have seen the world together... and she quite literally saved my life during a medical crisis several years ago.

I love her. This morning I delayed getting up and going to the gym for half an hour because my wife had snuggle up to my back and put an arm around me.

If you love your wife unconditionally, does that mean if she cheats you would forgive her? I think I would, if she wanted to stay with me.
Been married 12 years, my world revolves around my wife and kids. |
Not only do I love her with every fiber of my being, but she is my best friend as well.
Guess I'm a lucky man. |
I loved the one to be and put 100% towards her, but it was a one way street and was called off. I'm rocking the single life for now.

Since love is a choice, and not something that you fall in and out of... I choose to love my wife unconditionally everyday!

hate to tell the unconditionally guys but truth be known your wife would pick her girlfriend as her best friend not you, just the way woman are. we think of them as our best friends but we arent. even if they love us and we love them..

I would lay down my life for my wife.
I took a vow and I will stand by that vow until the day I die. That's not to say we don't have bad days but we understand that this is a partnership and we are 100% committed to making it work. Life doesn't have background music like the movies, it's hard work sometimes. I love my wife dearly. |

Ms. LWilde is an awesome GRITS.
42 years of marriage. She is an awesome sammich maker, likes guns, is a good conservative, super tractor driver, a skilled artist and a great Nana and Mom. She raised our kids and maintained our home while I was off playing sailor for 28 years. She is my life. What's not to love? |
BZZZZZZZ.
Wrong answer. My husband was my best friend for years. We've grown a part a little but I don't have any female friends I'd say I feel as close with. |

I am truly BLESSED to have my Wife. I am never letting her go.

I do. If we don't make it, it will be her choice. I'm looking forward to being an old geezer with her. She's a pain in the ass, but I' m a bigger pain in the ass.
She is my best friend and, good or bad, the only person in this world who fully "gets" me.
We have a great life together, truly blessed in that regard. I would be utterly lost without her, and am not afraid to admit that. (No, she doesn't read/post here.) |
My wife is awesome! We will have been married 11 years tomorrow... (yes, on Halloween!)
There were times when the kids were first born and hormones were raging that I was having second thoughts.
Nah, I'd die for her without hesitation, she's a great mom and wife. Thankful every day for her. I still have no idea how I convinced her to marry me. |
