Droid if you like fucking with every configurable option known to man, having to carry a spare battery, and tell everyone how many things you can do with your cool droid. ETA: spelling |

I switched from iPhone to a Galaxy S4. The S4 is faster and has a better screen. I'm happy with the S4

iPhones are fisher price centers for adults. And no, they don't "just work" - they have issues just like any other phone. Open source software is better than Apple's bullshit proprietary software. I have an iPhone for work - my S4 blows it away....

My wife went from an IPhone to a Samsung and she won't look back. I have an IPhone issued by my employer. And my personal phone is a Galaxy. I like my Samsung much better than my work phone. |

I have a work-issued HTC One running Kit-Kat and a personal iphone5. The One and S5 are one generation ahead if the i5 so it's not really apples to apples but my one blows the i5 off the map from a performance point of view. However, even with a stock rom Kit-Kat is STiLL buggy and leggy on rare occasions. The i5 on iOS 8.1 by the way, is rock solid reliable. From my experiance, iOS is still more stable

Oh for fuck's sake...
I have an iPhone 5. The battery life sucks donkey dick ever since iOS 8.0 was released but, I've realized it's a fact of life that if you have a smartphone, you're not going to be able to have one that runs for five days before a recharge like a non-smart phone. I'm looking at the Moto X or the Note 4 for my next phone next May. I like the iPhone, even if the experience is kind of vanilla. It works-to the point of it being boring. And btw, I have a Mophie case for my iPhone. Because yes, I need it. Get whatever works for you OP. If you want a boring but trouble free experience, get an iPhone. But, admittedly, Android has(from what I've seen) stepped up their game since 2011. |

As a LONG time Blackberry user I switched to Android a couple years back. Hated it. People say Android is less restrictive, I didn't find it to be. Google's leash is strong. I recently got a iPhone and it just works. No issues and everything makes sense. I can feel Apple is still there but they feel more like a partner than a boss.

I went from an S4 to an iPhone 5s, I don't use one any different from the other (call, text, and internet)...I want to go back to a Galaxy for nothing other than being able to set the notification tone I want for everything. I don't get the iPhone hate/love and same with Android, I like both.

I have an S3 now I like it fine but its taking a crap on me the power on/off button is VERY touchy keeps turning itself on and off its really pissing me off

I have an iphone5 and frankly I wouldn't want anything larger in my pocket. I refuse to go the murse or bat belt route. The S4 is considerably larger. The mini is the same size but everything I see on the web says the mini is inferior to the iphone5.
