An IO carbine, 1970's model I think, and a broken FEG 9mm.

The carbine is in pretty poor shape. It burned up $150 of the money.

The 9mm was 25 cents. It has an empty case jammed solid in it. Also the trigger pivot pin slides in and out, which makes me think it could be something in the fcg jamming it up.

Hopefully, you can get them running with not a lot of money/effort.

If you can, very good score.

Looks like that is the version of the FEG that is based on the S&W action, not the Hi-Power - just in case you need a parts diagram.

Nice buy!

The FEG should be an easy fix I think. The Carbine will probably end up as a wall hanger. I'll try shooting it tomorrow, but if it's as toast as I think it is, it'll probably end up as trade fodder at Wannemachers in November.

My first thought. Looks like Gun Parts Corp has most of the parts for that model.

That's what I was thinking, "Looks like a HP and a 3rd Gen Smith had a baby".

I think I'm going to need a new slide stop, and it looks like they're out of those.

That's where that most part comes in.....Sigh....As it always seems to do when I go to order a part.

Good score BTW.

What's wrong with the carbine?  Guns usually don't just break beyond repair.

I had a HP clone jam a cartridge up tight like that before.

I put the slide on the edge of a wooden table with the barrel clearing the edge then hit the back of the frame with a rubber mallet, worked like a charm.

I dunno yet. I got 250 rounds of Privi in today. I'll try it out tomorrow.

Check the bottom locking lug in that carbine before shooting it. If it looks mashed, don't shoot that thing. Mine KBd on me because of it. If it's mashed up, strip it of parts and get your money back. I was picking brass out of my face for a few days.

The carbine choked up and FTE on Wolf ammo that came from the PO. Ran great on PPU!

It still needs to be gone through. Both the front and rear sights are loose, and the only finish on the barrel is some kind of clear laquere.

FIL is an FFL/gunsmith.

Sometimes he gets people that come in with guns that will cost more to fix than they're worth, or get abandoned for months or years.

The carbine had been on his rack for over a year, and the owner didn't seem to care about it. I had him call the guy and offer $150. He took it.

I'm not sure what the story is on the FEG, but he bought it from a guy for 25 cents and gave it to me to fix after taking a shot at it himself and not being able to figure it out. My FIL is a textbook fudd. He doesn't even like working on anything with a detachable mag.

If you can't fix it, just take it to the Fun Show.
