I like my Troy rear sight, which came with my first run S&W M&P15 rifle.

I would like to standardize all of my ARs with the same set of irons.

Prices keep dropping on Troy.

Still, all my rifle except that first one wear Magpul.

Still have some sights and an Alpha rail.

They were the standard for a minute so thats what my guns came with.

They work.

I'm keeping them.

Will I seek them out for products in the future?

Probably not.

LOL, I give this statement an 11 on a 1-10 scale.

I still use Troy rear sights, but only old used ones because the money isn't going to Troy and the discontinued mounting bracket is a better design than their current offering.

I did some cold weather drop tests on several mags.

The Troy mag shattered like glass.

I thought it was a fluke, so I repeated the test. Again, shattered.

To be fair, PMags didn't like the cold either, and took damage. But they still worked after a few drops, only failing from accumulated damage. Whereas the Troy mag failed first-drop beyond repair.

Even the Tapco mag held up better.

Unscientific testing... Sample size of two... Cold weather impact resistance may not be a factor in the desirability of a magazine, etc, etc. Test it yourself before drawing any conclusion.
