It's been over a year since the Troy hiring scandals. Has your opinion changed? View Quote I like my Troy rear sight, which came with my first run S&W M&P15 rifle. I would like to standardize all of my ARs with the same set of irons. Prices keep dropping on Troy. Still, all my rifle except that first one wear Magpul. |

Just buying the best stuff I can get my hands on it while I can man.
I don't think Troy is really down with trying to destroy my right to purchase the things they sell. |
Anyone that pays taxes is still buying Troy products. That's why they don't care.
Still have some sights and an Alpha rail.
They were the standard for a minute so thats what my guns came with. They work. I'm keeping them. Will I seek them out for products in the future? Probably not. |
I bought a Troy 556 rifle for $600, then traded it for a DDM4 V5. Even.
Does that count? |

I don't shoot every target in a shoot/no shoot fun house, so I don't need Troy sights. But Troy sights are kid tested, Mom approved! LOL, I give this statement an 11 on a 1-10 scale. I still use Troy rear sights, but only old used ones because the money isn't going to Troy and the discontinued mounting bracket is a better design than their current offering. |
I previously purchased one Troy rear sight.
It's the last time Troy gets a dime from me. |

Fuck Troy, still not buying.
For full disclosure I have kept my set of Troy BUIS I had purchased prior to the big Troy d-bag reveal. But after, not a cent to Troy. |
stickman was doing an amazing giveaway contest in facebook... but you had to "like" all the sponsors. troy was one of the sponsors. f that.

With excellent companies like Midwest Industries and BCM I have no reason to even consider Troy products. Fuck em.

I kept waiting for the principled Troy owners here to post their unwanted products in EE. Never happened, go figure... How do you know they didn't? I had a grand total of one (1) Troy product, a Battlemag, which I had never even loaded. I GAVE it away to an acquaintance. Fuck Troy. |
They took an order to shoot an unarmed woman and carried it out.
Fuck them, and fuck troy.

I put my money where my mouth it in the last two weeks.
Needed a new forearm. Got a Fortis, not Troy. Needed new sling mounts. Got Midwest Industries, not Troy. |
I've never bought a Troy product.
I guess I don't have any plans to start.

I still have a Troy rail that i bought from Bushmaster on my 6920, but I will not buy anything else from them

The number of purchases I have convinced acquaintances NOT to make from troy now numbers 13.
I used to keep a $ tally but quit a while ago. |

I have some of their mags...other products never interested me much.
I do want that stock, though...if they ever sell it individually. |
Never bought Troy before, certainly never will since finding out about their 'employee'. Plenty of other quality vendors out there.
I won't buy their shit under any circumstance. However, many people lose their moral compass when they think Troy is doing a 60% off Sale.

The Troy mag shattered like glass. I thought it was a fluke, so I repeated the test. Again, shattered. To be fair, PMags didn't like the cold either, and took damage. But they still worked after a few drops, only failing from accumulated damage. Whereas the Troy mag failed first-drop beyond repair. Even the Tapco mag held up better. Unscientific testing... Sample size of two... Cold weather impact resistance may not be a factor in the desirability of a magazine, etc, etc. Test it yourself before drawing any conclusion. |
