When it comes to graffiti I'm convinced that the only punishment that's appropriate should involve surgically removing the thumb from their dominant hand. There's something poetic about leaving these azzholes capable of holding their favorite tool for vandalism yet making them incaple of using it.

Just got off the phone with an operator from Yellowstone (because fuck her), and they said that to the best of their knowledge she did not hit Yellowstone, but they were aware of the acts committed elsewhere and a Federal criminal investigation had already begun. He could not say with certainty, but he presumed the number of sites hit was so great that he expected serious penalties.

I'm hoping Yosemite agents take the lead on this investigation. At least one act of vandalism was documented there, on the Mist Trail - which was my weekly commute back in 07. If she went up that far she may have made it up to Nevada Falls and possibly up to Half Dome. Graffiti clean up (and dealing with human remains) was a daily occurrence when I was up there. Yosemite has the tenacity, experience, tech support and judicial support for dealing with this chick. cheers, |
