Something about a lever action just feels right to me.

I bought the same one about 6 months ago. Very nice quality. The down side is it's not set up to shoot shorts or longs but it will cycle longs grudgingly.

I prefer the Marlin 39A but the Henry has a smooth action.

Nice!

Love a good lever gun.

I inherited my grandmothers 32 special this year.

I shot my first deer with it when I was about 10 and my grandmother shot her first deer with it as well.

Nice! I love those Henrys.  If I didn't already have an old winchester 22LR lever that is the one I'd buy.  Very useful and light.

That is one of my favorite guns to shoot. You won't be disappointed.

I have one Henry.  Can't tell you how it shoots.  I bought it for my grandson during a local special.  It is a .22 Golden Boy with his initials and birth date for the serial number.  I have pictures of myself and him at one year old picking it up from the LGS.

It will remain in the factory wrapper, unfired, until he is old enough to shoot it with me.  He turns four in March, so it will be a while.

I do like a good lever action. I have a henry 22, a marlin 336, and a marlin 444p.

Bought my oldest the same gun when he was in the womb.  He's seven now, it'll be waiting for him.

Of course I shoot the shit out of it in the meantime.  Fuck him, I paid for it.

I have a 39A to play with in the mean time.  I just may buy another Henry for myself.
