Hard to describe. But terrorism, their involvement in the war, and related topics dominated the news. This includes coverage of their own homegrown dirtbags causing problems and going overseas for jihad. A Calgary local (or, more properly, a Muslim that happened to live in Calgary) was killed overseas while I was there and it was all over the news. Canada is balls deep in the struggle. According to Fox News, Canada raised their terror threat level from low to medium just hours before the attack.
At least one victim was a soldier who was standing guard at a Canadian war memorial. (Wounded) It was just a couple days ago that some haji killed a Canadian soldier in a traffic "accident". They don't have the shooter yet. |
