Assault on the King's men bullshit. Fine him $50 and drop him off at his hotel. Three days in jail? Really? A bartender gave me a double wet willy as a "hello" two weeks ago in Nashville. Apparently, I wasn't important enough to get her jail time because I wasn't standing there watching a bus stop.

I'm a FF/PM - A cop arrested a POS who spit on me on a call. I have no problem with him arresting him for assault for spitting on me. A wet willy is basically spitting on the cop.
Flinging your bodily fluids at people, or placing them on them is not OK. |

Similarly, when I arrested a pilot LtCol in uniform for running his car into the exit curb and blowing out both passenger side tires and throwing a forty foot rooster tail of sparks across the Mendota bridge, when I finally got him to blow into the intoxalyzer he was at .24 an hour later, that was also two beers. And the highest I saw was .42 and somehow he was only slightly buzzed and had only had two beers. I think it's magic! |

From the article: the officer“felt two fingertips that were obvious to him as wet with saliva being pushed into his right and left ear canals, which caused pressure and discomfort.”
I am curious as to what training the cop underwent that caused him to be familiar with what saliva feels like in his ear canals as opposed to other bodily fluids in his ear canals. How did he instinctively know it to be saliva and not any other fluid on earth? That is a damn good cop. |

View Quote I'm guessing the bartender who gave you a wet willy was blonde and had big boobs and a tight shirt? The guy *earned* his jail time. Bodily fluids, e.g., saliva, are nasty. Doing that to someone who is already exposed to a bunch of nasty shit sucks. Forget about the disrespect--that sucks too, but some asshole "sharing" his bodily fluids with someone who does not want it is a dick move. Doing it to an on-duty cop is not only a dick move, it's an incredibly stupid one. I'd bet his CO is not amused either. This was not a "king's men" thing. This was a drunk guy being an asshole thing. Hopefully he will learn some valuable life lessons, e.g., * Getting wasted does not make your life better * Getting wasted and fucking with someone who is easily capable of fucking you over even worse can be a real buzz kill * Leave the stupid human tricks to the "celebrity" derelicts. They get paid lots of money for being stupid in public. You, on the other hand, will likely not fare as well. * If you really, really, *really* want to do shit like giving wet willies to strangers, and are not a celebrity derelict or hot young chick, learn to accept the wisdom passed on to us by a wise philosopher named Mick Jagger: "You can't always get what you want...." |

I'm not a current, former, or future LEO, but I was a nurse years ago and have seen my share of nasty bodily fluids.A wet willy among friends is a prank.
