Some of my guns with tight chambers (even though they're chrome-lined) seem to have problems extracting the Russian lacquered ammo. Not the Privi steel though, which is lacquered to hell. Just something in the Tula lacquer that makes it adhere more I suppose. Haven't tried much Wolf, but it seems to work okay. |

It's brass cased .223 loaded to 193 specs. It's very good ammo. Very comparable to Prvi M193.

Even though the OP seems to be incapable of hot linking, you could have looked and saw this is brass cased ammo. |

How does the brass compare with PMC brass? Is it decent enough to reload?

Confirmed by members here, it's Taiwanese true M193 spec with phenomenal QC. Superior to Federal XM193 in fact in SD, ES, and accuracy. I've burned 1000 rds with zero functional issues or visible defects.

Hmmm, at the time it was 8 different ARs ranging from lowly DPMSs to RRA to Stag to PWA to my BCM none of them like it. The common thread with the failure was casings stuck in the chambers, vs never having failures running Federal XM193. So no the problem wasn't my guns it was the ammo. |

They don't run lacquer even though I've reamed the chambers to 5.56 on all my guns, the lacquer gums 'em up. Why'd you do that?? So they all run the same spec. instead of 8 (at the time) rifles having different chambers. My first rifle had a .223 chamber on it and would hang up on 5.56 so as I bought more rifles, they would feed 5.56 fine, with a stuck round sometimes. The DPMS always had a problem with PMC 5.56 so the more research I did, pointed to an obviously tight chamber using 5.56, bought a 5.56 chamber ream which was recommended by a few sites and gunsmiths. Reamed the DPMS and after that it has run fine, ran the Stag and PWA, both ran better. The the day came for the Wolf Ammo, fucked up all my guns, burnt lacquer and lacquer chips everywhere. My a post here about it, and went to several forums, everyone said the same thing, it was the lacquer. So I don't use Wolf anymore. |

Wolf hasn't used laquer on their steel .223 in a very long time, their coating is polymer. |

Wolf Gold is brass case M193 ammo made in Taiwan. I have fired about 800 rounds of this ammo through 3 different AR's (10.5", 14.5" and 16"). It is on the high end of accuracy for M193 and is 100% reliable. |

This is all the same damned laquered steel case Commie bullshit. It erodes the throat on your rifle and breaks your extractors and the fumes from the laquer will give you anal gonorrhea if you breath it in too much. STAY AWAY.
