And you can only choose 1 , which one do you choose and why? There are no restrictions , no gun laws , and you get a lifetimes supply of ammo to run the firearm so ammo cost is not a factor. The firearm you choose will be the last firearm you ever own and is subject to failure , I mean this is the real world not fantasy people!
You can add any attachments to the firearm you choose to get the most out of it and to best suit your needs. I honestly don't know what I would choose that's why I made this thread for ideas! |

View Quote M24. That is my first true love and I'd take it even though there may be better rifles out there. I'd take it with it's fixed 10x scope and bipod. I don't need anything else. |

Whatever the guard of said building least suspects me to shoot him with.

Does this include movie/TV guns?
Because if it does, than it's a phased plasma rifle, 40 watt range.
|
|
Unlimited ammo and it has to last forever?
It would be hard to beat an M79. Bone simple and all kinds of cool. Wait... could I pick an M4A1 with an M203 attached? |
|
Something with a high resale value. Like a several hundred thousand dollar double.

I move into building and only shoot 1 firearm at a time, it may take me 50 or so years to choose just 1

Charlton Automatic Rifle
Why? Because they're cool, and I'll never get to own one otherwise. Only five or so survived the warehouse fire and they're all in museums. |
|
Either an MP5 or an M4.
But at the same time, I'd be sad about not having a shotgun since I love skeet shooting. |

M4
It's too modular to turn down. As long as the lower receiver doesn't fail, you're groovy.
|

I'd want something belt fed but honestly I'd probably go with a No 4 Mk 1 or an M1 Garand. Something with a full size rifle cartridge that's robust.

"You walk into a building that contains 1 of each firearm ever made......"
So you're in the ATF Gun Vault? Better get out quick before you get caught! |

Glock 18. I can use it in semi auto for ccw or use a RONI kit to make it into a pdw. I could even convert it to .40, 357 sig or 22lr if I needed to. Pluss you can use anything from a ban era 10 round mag to a 33 round factory mag or a 100 round beta mag.

A fucking Dillon Aero M134 mini gun. A lifetime supply of ammo for that bitch is a lot of fucking ammo.

View Quote is that bottom one the para model? Got to hold one of those about a year ago |

I kind of got to do this at the Army intelligence unit at Fort Irwin.
I came out with a full auto suppressed Sten gun and a Galil but the truck was already loaded with AKs and M-4's |

18 Inch LaRue Tactical PredatAR® 5.56
The constraints of your scenario prevented me from selecting something like a Kriegoff or Holland & Holland and and selling it to fund a whole safe full of guns. So if I'm constrained to just one rifle for the rest of my life, that would be it. |
