I had to have a Ruger Mark II, stainless 5" bull. Thought my daughter would shoot it but it was to heavy for her! I should have known better. I thought it was nice but I never fell in love with it and I was never really comfortable with the angled grip. I luckily sold it a year later for what I had in it, $300. I hated to see it go for some reason, wish that I had kept it, a nice solid gun. My mosquito t hat I have now runs great!

Para-Ordnance 1911 platform.
Sent back twice, it's now a safe queen that is still too unreliable for its intended purposes. -Maybe- a Jenngins J22 pistol, but for the price of it I really can't complain. With the right ammunition it hasn't let me down or anything, but the overall use of a short .22 pistol (too small of a caliber to rely upon for CCW, to inaccurate for plinking well) is lost on me. My G23 Glock instead of a G19 or G17 in the 9mm caliber. .40 cal is a sort of miserable round that I don't really want... but none of that is Glock's fault. |

Bersa .380 worse recoil than my .45's
Taurus PT9 very unreliable never knew if it would go bang when you pulled the trigger sold it Kimber - just uncomfortable to shoot, I swear it's got the wrong guide spring in it because the recoil is so stout. My Springfield lightweight is 10 times more comfortable. Glock .22 - not a fan of .40 converted it to 9mm fun to shoot now. |

Vulcan 50 BMG, That was the biggest safety hazard ever, the firing pin almost took my cheek off when it punctured a primer.

GSG-5, multiple trips back for repair but still would double and triple, traded at a loss, told the dealer the problems but he was willing to try and get it repaired... < or so he said  >
Had a Franchi SPAS-12 back in the mid 80's, looked cool but what was I thinking? Stupid heavy thing, sold it for way more than I paid, so at least there's that... |

Remington 597 YellowJacket, or w/e that model designation was with the yellow boyds stock and heavy barrel.
polished the guide rods, put them back in finger tight. ran it dirty, ran it clean, put HV .22 through it, tried everything. When it functioned it was great - only with factory 10 round mags. I ended up using it to train new shooters how to handle malfunctions. Sold it for 1/2 the price i paid for it and built a 10/22. |

Walther P99 with no S&W import markings. Overpaid for the non-import, and it has the worst trigger of any gun I've ever fired. Sold it for 1/4 what I paid for it.

Sig 556 - rattle rattle rattle and sub par accuracy. Like 4 MOA at 100 yards at best. Magazine release isn't that great, either.

I have an early LCP. the sights are small but work. it shoots to point of aim. and unlike the Glock 42 or S&W bodyguard, its reliable. The no-dash aka Gen2 LCP has a better trigger and bigger sights. a no dash LCP with a stainless slide is probably the best pocket sized .380 you can buy. |

Beretta Tomcat.
Horrible, fragile, aluminum receiver...can't shot it or the receiver will disintegrate, can't sell it except at a significant loss. The only good thing is that it didn't cost me very much. And it's a real shame because the design is excellent, it's just the execution regarding the materials that makes this little pistol a complete POS. If they had just made the receiver out of steel it would be a freakin' sweet little pocket pistol.

SKS, same Ruger Mini-30, it used to dissemble itself while firing it at the bench, fixed that. Hi point 9mm carbine, god what a POS! Terrible trigger, impossible to take down, excellent customer service though. |

OK, confession time.
Biggest regret, Federal Arms 91 rifle. back during the Clinton ban era. Paid $850.00 for a new one from my local GS, they just got it in from Davidson's. All new aluminum cast reciver built to surplus G3 parts kit. I was dying to get an HK91 but they were all 2K and up. I got this turd instead....what was I thinking???? 20 pound trigger pull. I had to stomp on the cocking lever to even move it. I traded it in the next day for huge loss. Centruy arms later started selling this turd after it sullied Davidson's name. Last month I saw an FA91 for sale at gun show for 1K. I had to laugh. |

kel tec p3at was a pos. casings would get stuck in barrel after firing, so fte after fte--and I had to use a pencil to pop out the spent casings. heck, the first barrel had the rifling start, smooth bore for a cm, then start on a different path. I am so glad I sold it back to the dealer I bought it from.

American Derringer Corporation derringer chambered in .45 ACP.
Rifling was too shallow and would keyhole on both barrels. Even tried .454" bullets in an effort to get the rifling to grab...with no luck. Second mistake was a 4 5/8" stainless Ruger NM Super Blackhawk. Myself and a friend bought two from the same gun shop at the same time. Eventually I noticed that the front sight seemed tilted slightly to the left, Then examination of the spent .44 mag. cases convinced me that this thing must be actually chambered for .45 Colt. Of course my friends showed no such faults.

CZ P-07 : the frame went Salvador Dali after only 600 rounds. CZ doesn't know how to design and make plastic frames yet.
Mosin-Nagant : only bought it because it was cheap at the time. I remembered why I fucking hate bolt guns after buying it. Ruger Mini-14 : enough said |

That gun flat out sucks and jams on almost every mag. The ZIP .22 is a real shitty gun, too. Doesn't run right and has multiple jams per mag. It takes a special kind of tard to keep them.
