Anything based pon the AK 4 platform.  I had three variations and they are now all gone.

1)  Romanian SAR-1 could not hit the side of a barn from the inside.  It was as accrate as any Brown Bess aver made.  My shotgun patterned 00 buckshot better at 50 yards.  It did run like a clock though and was the ultimate bullet hose.

2) Bulgarian SSR-85-C2.  Reasonably accurate but only one particular mag would fit into it and even then it would only feed two round at most before jamming.

3)  Romanian PSL.  The bolt guide rail inside the receiver failed after 80 rounds.  I was using Czech light ball silver tip too which was what most people recommended at the time.  On the replacement rifle, it took me 8 months to find a magazine that actually worked reliably in it.  Even that after doing a lot of work on the mag.  It was pretty accurate though and even as a lefty I enjoyed shooting it when it did work.

Kimber Custom II 1911.  That damn thing jammed constantly.  After the 3rd trip to Kimber, I sold it.  That was the beginning and end of my desire to own a 1911.

When I was a poor college student I bought a Centme 308 because I liked the G3 but didn't want to pay for a PTR-91.  It was complete trash as should be expected from a $340 rifle.  Sold it a year later for $200 and bought a PTR-91 KF which I love.

Got a Beretta S2000 for conceal carry.  Worst hand gun I have ever shot.  Terrible finish, 20 lbs trigger, couldn't hit anything with it.  Sold it to a friends dad who wanted it for his truck gun.  That was 10+ years ago and I don't think he has ever shot it.  I warned him it wasn't a great gun.

I regret buying my first GLOCK.

It has led to much money being spent on additional magazines, ammo, threaded barrels, a 45 silencer, tall sights, red dots, and, soon, a new safe.

I have an SA XD 9.  I only regret it because I should have just gotten a Glock 19.

Now that I have a G19, I never shoot the XD.

And while it's always useful to tuck another handgun around the house...  Again, I'd rather just have another Glock.

But it's not worth it to try to sell it and get something else.  It'd end up costing more money than the 'upgrade' is worth to me.

Eventually it'll probably turn into a 21st birthday present for one of my kids...  in like 20 years.    Hey, happy birthday, here's dad's shitty ancient pistol with burnt out night sights.

Every gun I've owner in .40, including a G23
AK pattern rifle (sold it a week after buying it). It was perfectly reliable, but the plastic Saiga stock and shit sights made it feel like a loud, inaccurate toy.

Ended up selling them for around what I paid. Some more, some less. All evens out I think

S&W Airweight.  I'd have to be in physical contact with someone to hit them with it.  Sure is easy to conceal though.

I somewhat regret buying my Vector 93.

It's a decent rifle, and very comfortable to shoot.  But pretty quickly after buying it I thought of other things I would have preferred to use the money on.

I have almost sold it a couple of times, but it is a fun range toy, so I keep hanging onto it.

FEG PA63  wanted one so bad, and then found out it was a complete POS to shoot.
Betetta 92FS that I couldn't get to group for shit. Sent it back to Beretta to have it looked at under warranty. They sent it back along with a test target that looked like someone shot it with a shotgun, saying it was within spec. Mind you, this was from 7 yards using a rest. I sent that thing down the road.

Damn thing would jam every few shots, i sent it for repairs, got it back did the same thing. Put a few hundred rounds through it and sold it letting the buyer know it wasent sufficient for self defense as it had extractor issues but would be find for plinking at the range.

Bought a Sig 938 SAS model to replace it and carry it every day.

Yes and No.

I bought an AR from a local shop. I was new into them and didnt understand everything about them.

While I got a good deal, there are some things I wished I would of checked.

The shop is now out of business and I am left with unknown answers.

But Im glad I bought, once I shot it a few times, I see why I needed to have one.

Tommy Gun.

Wanted 1 for years.  The trigger was so heavy, it was like hooking my finger on the bumper of my truck.

Had it at the range 1 day, and 2 of the rear sight screws popped out, fell into the action, and jammed the bolt.

It was fixed under warranty, and then traded.

Few I regret not buying when prices were low.  Mosin is the best example I can think of when AIM had them for $79 & $89.  Now they are still cheap at $130, but missing out a few years back I feel quite dumb.

I guess the only one I somewhat regret was my first handgun a S&W model 457.  Sold it to my dad.  It wasn't bad but I needed cash at the time.  I should have bought a 92FS as my first gun, but I bought it second and I'm never getting rid of it.  Love that gun.

S&W M&P .40 Pro - Learned very quickly that I hated .40 and would never own another one.  Still love M&Ps.
Keltec PF9 - For the size I figured itd be a great carry gun.  It kicked like crazy compared to comparably sized guns.  Sold it for what I paid.

Every other gun Ive bought/sold has been pretty reasonable.  I dislike the first XDm I had and sold it.  Now I own a different one and it shoots great for me in USPSA matches.  My 870 was great but I sold it when I moved from IL (stupid shotgun only hunting).  Sold my very first gun ever, a Savage 11 in .22-250, because I couldnt afford to shoot it at $1/round.  Dont even miss that, some nice guy bought it and I hope he loved it.  I now have a Savage 11 in .308 that I love.

Ruger LCR22.  I bought it for my daughter but the trigger was about 20 pounds.  Also, the thing would not hit a barn door from 10 feet away.  I got hosed when I sold it but I just wanted it gone.  I saw it posted on Armslist about 3 days later.

I'm in the same boat.  I knew it wasn't going to be a tack driver when I bought it but it has been worse than I anticipated.  I've owned a number of "little" 22 pistols over the years so I understand the quirks and limitations of them.  This one was a disappointment.  It's going to the show this weekend.

I'm a big Ruger fan by the way.  Just not this one.

HK P2000. Piece of shit.

HK P30. Way too much money for what it ended up being.

KT PF9. Functioned fine, reliability wise, but is the most inaccurate pistol I've ever fired.

So yeah, for pistols, I'm just sticking to Glocks and CZ's. Have some M&P's that I like too, but those will get sold eventually.

KT PLR16. Was useful for practicing failure drills

9mm Ar15 pistol that uses Glock mags. Nothing wrong with it, but I built then never even shot it, it just sits in the safe. Need to sell it.

TEC-9 was a total jamming POS as well. This was early 90's and Gangsta Rap was the rage.

More recently, Sig 1911 Target Stainless that required more work to function properly than a $1000 handgun ought to require.

Only gun I ever regret was a S&W 645.

It was the early 80s and I wanted a 1911.  I looked all over, but did not really know much about guns, and the S&W 645 was the closest I could find to a 1911.

Biggest POS I have ever, or hopefully will ever, own.

My dad had one.  Difficult to put in to battery, even with ball ammo.

Then I was all smart and bought a P3AT.  After a couple hundred rounds it is smooth and I trust it, but I wish the LCP was out when I was shopping.  I still may get a LCP anyway.

I have:
Charles Daly 12g 18" Pump and 26" 20g autoloader (enough said.)
First run Walther P22 (internal metals wore out, now is inconsistent with function)

Ruger LCP (doesn't like feeding the first round, might just need to break in more)

Polish P64. Hard to shoot if you like feeling in your fingers. Trigger is horrible.
Nagant Revolver. Useless but night historical piece.
Century VZ58 I bought when Aim started selling them last fall. Hasn't worked right since day one. I thought tabbing the bolt carrier would fix the problem so I waited past the warranty period since it was the dead of winter. Got the carrier tabbed. Still won't work right. Next time I'll shoot a gun the day I receive it so I have plenty of time to send it back if need be.
