I would add that for completely broadside shots, it is probably going to leave a nasty, bloody exit wound, but if you have to shoot through the shoulder it may not.
I got no exit wound with a quartering toward shot, but the bullet did some strange things. Assploded the heart and one lung into unrecognizable bits, then somehow turned down into the abdominal cavity and ripped through her guts before exiting the abdominal muscle wall and riding just under the skin for another 6 inches or so. We found the bullet under the skin just in front of where her back leg joined the body. |

Sharpened the big chainsaw, gave the little chainsaw away to someone who needed it more than I.
Cleaned the 22-250, loaded some ammo. Goals for tomorrow assuming i have any spare time -oil changed in tractor -sharpen blades and grease finish mower, store -sharpen blades and grease brush hog -clean off low boy, load and cover lumber with tarp -prepare to deliver to houston monday |

There was absolutely no blood trail (she only ran about 50 yards, though), but the internal damage was righteous. She bled out so much that Duckski didn't even need drip pans in the hanging cooler. |
