I don't know what update took place, but I only noticed it about a week or two ago so I'm thinking it has to do with either chrome, or arfcom.

Other sites let me click the video and it will bring up full screen YouTube and play away.

Arfcom now teases me with the play button on the video, but it's not recognizable as a clickable video.

A month ago I know for sure I was able to click embedded videos on arfcom.

Is this the same issue that Apple users have been facing?

Same for me. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Occasionally I'll reload the webpage and the video will play. Otherwise I have to click the hyperlink to play the video

If you are on Android 4.4 or higher, no flash. There is a mod for the Dolphin Browser that will get flash support back.

For a long time now it has just brought up the youtube player app. Flash isn't even a concern... but something with chrome broke it last week (on mine).

I have been assured by the Arfcom Tech Gurus that all problems are on Apple phones and tablets, and no Android devices have any issues, ever. You're limp wristing it.

Whoever told you that is a moran. The difference is on Android you can do things to overcome issues while on Apple you must wait for Apple to resolve the issue, test it then release it. Opensource ftw.
