Great thread...very informative.

Miroslav...you still making guitar pedals?
What is your specialty?

Hi guys. Was offline for quite a while, life interferes with stuff :(

Yeah Macro, I still make pedals, but the business is really slow, so my primary job right now is fixing airsoft gun replicas.
I used to specialize in dirt pedals, fuzz/drive/dist of any kind.

I will do a SBOTD dump tonight :)

excellent!

Was drinking at a local dive bar and spent 3 hours talking to a young man, early 20's, Serbian.  Interesting take on things.  Very politically aware, both here and internationally.  He's a DJ, living a young man's life.

I've met quite a lot of Serbs, starting with helping emigrees during the Kosovo conflict when Lutheran Family Services would put them here and us volunteers would help them integrate into American life.  All of them were well educated and solid, good people.

Hmmm... maybe I should look there for my next wife, lol

Sounds like a good idea,  will do.

In other news on Orthodox Easter,  4 orthodox churches burned down (one of them was a Serbian church on Manhattan :(). In all cases,  arson is suspected,  because its too much of a coincidence.

I guess "the religion of peace"  is somehow responsible.

Rejoice

Btw, I recently decided to try to apply for Work and Travel program next year, so I might come to the USA next summer, for 3-4 months. Will be working at Anchorage,AK. Everything is legal, I wont be stealing anyone's job, just working for a minimum wage, to scrounge up a bit of money to pay off college and maybe buy a beater car or even a handgun (when I get back here)

Haha, have no fear, I'll post them from Alaska, too. Just have to work out everything to get there.  If I get an opportunity for a 10-12$/hr job, I could pay for my Masters degree, and even maybe afford a car or something. And I will use most of my remaining money earned there to travel the US, if I manage to squeeze that into my and my girlfriend's school schedules. Just recently, they established a regular Belgrade>New York flight, so ticket prices dropped a lot, so I guess I will pass through NY either way.
