I'm going to bed. Right now the stream is showing what happened earlier in the day. (noon-5pm maybe).
After watching a few minutes, I propose Ferguson police take a month off as a social experiment, and don't come back until the community is begging. Sure they will burn down their town, but I don't even care at this point. Just let the police enforce a perimeter.+ And FYI a 9 year old black kid was shot and killed in a drive by in Ferguson. Is there some other force behind all of this? I've lived in St. Louis (almost) my entire life and while I've worked with plenty of people who know I'm white as hell and we both understood each other are different, I always got along with people.
Yet in all these protests there always seems to be some muhammed this or some other bullshit stirring people up. Thing that concerns me is that what happens when these dickhead stir up who would otherwise be good people and pit them against neighbors and fellow Americans instead of the sources of instigation? Just a thought. Just don't like it turn into race wars when I've worked with and known a lot of black people who were great and it would be a real shame if in 5 more years of this bullshit that we're literally fighting one another. |

What did the police say happened? All you see in the video is him moving presumably towards officers and then shots fired. What happened off camera? Why did they say he was shot (regardless of from what direction.. what caused them to shoot?)? |
