At this point, the officer looks to me like he was in the right.
What happens though, is totally dependent on how skewed/sideways things go. I also don't think that the people that are rioting/etc give 2 shits about what actually happened, they are using the situation to vent their anger about whatever it is that they are angry about and making the officer into the scapegoat for their woes. |

IMO, 2 hour advance notice isn't enough....but I understand it. I'm not up in Ferguson or very near it, but we've got freeways traveling in close proximity to our town, so its not a long trip by car to come cause problems with for us. Additionally, we are a city that has a pretty good shopping district with a predominantly white resident population, so we are an attractive target for these type of people. |
