Quoted: That was bad. Even with the catcher framing it, it was still outside and low. A's had problems with the crew chief earlier this year too making faces at the team and shit, and his strike zone for Kazmir was out of control. Bob Melvin got ejected from the game. I was a little nervous when I saw he was the crew chief for this game. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Is Zombie Eric Gregg behind the plate? I had to watch that strike out again just to see Jon Lester make Omar Infante fall down striking out. Jon Lester owns the playoffs.

KC gets a run back but horrible base running mistake with your tying run on 3rd... I don't know what happened there! How did...what? Why was Billly Butler...? Um... That was my reaction almost word for word. Quoted:

Redbirds fan here. Since I was born.
Hoping October cardinal magic happens again. That said, I think the Dodgers are pretty complete, and likely the best package. |

Plus its probably the Raider and A's fan in me being paranoid about umpires and refs. The umpire they had problems with is at first base and called a check swing the A's way last inning |

Did anyone else see Shields and Coco Crisp getting chippy on that first play? They had an all out brawl in 2008 when Crisp was with Boston and Shields was with Tampa Bay

What a game! You just never know what's gonna happen in baseball. I hate both of these teams too, so it's fun to watch the plays and not care what happens. I'm usually all pissed off by now!

View Quote I'm a huge A's fan and I'm already dinking heavily to try to calm down. At this point I'm just pacing my living room and yelling at every at bat. My dog has had enough of my shit and went downstairs so she can have some peace and quite. |

I just hope KC can hang on to the lead.... for the bracket, of course! ;-)

Darnit!!! There goes my bracket... lol :)
Screw you KC! You needed to win this one.... |

Seriously, at this point Jon Lester is just putting on a clinic of how to throw a curveball.

I drank when the A's started losing. I typed fast in my excitement. How's the bar though? Still noisy? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I hope Adam Dunn makes it in for an at bat. Being his first post season game after 2,002 mlb games

As a Raiders fan, Tom Brady fumbled and deserves to be disgraced every chance possible |

And the replays this year have been a resounding success. It's much better than any other professional sports reviews. |

Huge blown opportunity. That knuckle-curve type pitch down and away is nasty though.

Low and outside. Gets him every time. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes How young is that guy? Seemed like he had big game syndrome. He's never been to October baseball obviously, it's a completely different game in October. Or last day of September, either way. |

Perez swings at anything. Low and outside. Gets him every time. How young is that guy? Seemed like he had big game syndrome. He's never been to October baseball obviously, it's a completely different game in October. Or last day of September, either way. He's been shite for a few months now. ETA: He's also been treated like a rented mule. IIRC, he broke the Royals record for games played by a catcher this year. |

I figured this would be a 1 run game, but not a 7-6 game!
Crazy!

Greg Holland had 20 walks all season!
He was Mr. Game Over as a closer the last two seasons.

Holland was getting my blood pressure up.
Thank you Nouri Aoki. |

Good god wtf is happening in this game first the A's have a god awful inning giving up 3 runs then KC nearly blows their shot by walking every fucking batter. Glad neither of them are my team or I'd be pulling out hair.
Oh and why the fuck is my TBS station in espanol?

Josh Willingham in a Royals uniform still pisses me off.
Fuck you Minnesota.

Who the hell is KC's radio guy? I was listening on my way home, and you think this guy could perform open heart surgery in the middle of Hue by the way he was commentating the Eighth.
