Part of it is I am just burned out. I feel like there is noone new to try and convince to buy from us. Part of it is I am tired of convincing people to buy from us just to lose their business to another supplier because tey are cheaper than us on the same product. Part of it is I am tired of being used as the idea guy, the "hey, come here and train my guys" guys, and then not even getting the business because I am not as cheap as somewhere else. Part of it is my company is falling behind on certain changing aspects of our industry and it's getting more and more difficult to attempt to prove we are worth a premium price. Considered going elsewhere? Really need to put my resume together. Just unmotivated to do it.  What you just wrote above seems like good motivation to me. You are on the railroad tracks and the train is fast approaching, do you wait until it is about to hit you before trying to jump or do you get off the track as soon as you see the danger? Yes, indeed. Easier to get a job if you already have one. I need to do one or the other, that's for sure. One of the things I wouls lose in the freedom of movement I have enjoyed for over 9 years, and the no immediate supervisor on site for 15. No more able to help with the kids when ever the wife is not feeling good. No more being able to mee thtem at the bus stop if the wife has something else going on she needs to do. Lots of things to consider. Sometimes I think it would be better to just re-discover my motivation for my current job. |

We worked chokes from the front today. I rock Krav 5 (sometimes 6) times a week, meet with my coach one-on-one once a week and the gym 5 times a week. 28lbs down in 2 months. woohoo! |
