I like the A2 Stock a lot. It's just a good fit for me. I don't wear body armor. I don't get in and out of humvees. It has handy space for some beef jerky. I would think it would make a better club than your average collapsible stock. I have no friends so I don't need the flexibility for other body types. Has a full sized buffer and buffer tube for recoil. And they are cheap used. I think more people should embrace the A2. ETA - I should have included the A1/A2 together. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3908/14882645778_a0e844f787_c.jpg It's a Gen III Rifle length carbon fiber free float forearm from Precision Reflex. Your clone game is seriously lacking...
A2 is fine, A1 is better. Both suck with armor. CAR > All others. Quoted:

Wish there were a good looking SOFT buttpad to mitigate collarbone hammering when shooting .308 while wearing T-shirt. Magpul rubber buttpad is still fairly hard. |

A2s are awesome. Even with armor I have no problem with them. I can see how the little fellas may not like them though with their short arms and all.

Since I just built my first AR and its a 20incher with an A2 stock I'd say its a pretty darn good stock. I'm short so I have to lean further in to get close to nose to CH on an A2. My 6 position isn't hard to do that on for my 16inch AR.
Edit - Added Picture. Since this iPotato picture I have added a BUIS from Radical Firearms (their polymer one....not too shabby) and moved the optic back as far as she'll go Still need to add a Sling from Blue Force. I'll see if I can get a new picture that's better quality soon. " /> |

That's what I like. 10 round mags are easier to swap out on a bench. I have 20 and 30 rounders too. I don't need a bayonet lug. I don't have a bayonet (well, not one for an AR). WTF would I use one for? A2/A1 stock is the best stock, so that's all I use. And the muzzle brake is so I can later screw on a suppressor. Think Feinstein will mind? The brake |
