Keanu Reeves is setting out on another excellent adventure. The actor and motorcycle enthusiast has teamed up with bike builder Gard Hollinger to launch the Arch Motorcycle Company. The Los Angeles-based outfit has started taking orders for its first ride, the KRGT-1. Not just another custom rod, the big V-Twin features an all-original design built with handmade parts and powered by a unique 2032cc motor developed with S&S Cycle good for nearly 122 hp and 122 lb-ft of torque sent to the rear wheel through a 6-speed Baker Drivetrains transmission. The motor breathes through a unique downdraft induction system that channels air from intakes next to the headlamps through the center of its twin fuel cells, which take 66 hours to produce from a 534-pound hunk of billet aluminum. The bike itself weighs just 538 pounds, thanks in part to a set of carbon fiber wheels. LED lighting is featured front and rear, and the retro-futuristic bodywork would look right at home on the streets of Mega City. You may need to cut a deal with the devil to buy one, however: The price is an eye-opening $78,000. |

I wonder if I could get a chunk of petrified dinosaur shit for $78,000.
A bit pricey and I'd be a bit worried of the carbon fiber wheels but other then that t looks fun as hell

Sort of interesting. Big V-twin, deep seat, and a cafe style tank. Not sure I like it, but interesting.
I hope it's better at being a motorcycle than he is at acting.

Billet aluminum 2 piece tank is a huge waste of time and money.
The rest of the bike I understand. I could make that bike for half the asking price though easily. Nice concept. |

2032 cc and 122 hp how in the fuck does it make so few horsepower ? a Pinto motor in 1974 did almost that good
dude, let's bust out a sweet bike, we'll just take 15 different styles and cobble them together into a hideous piece of shit and charge 4 times what its worth... totally...
Not my style, but it is cool looking.
I do want those mirrors though...
I just threw up in my mouth... I haven't had this feeling since Johnny Moronic.

My bmw is 30 ft/lbs shy on torque, and same hp from a
1200cc boxer with 100 lbs less fat. Color me not impressed.

Factory Vtwins are mostly under powered compared to parralel twins, triples, etc. breaking 100Hp is good for a factory Vtwin. Not many bikes that are Vtwins break that triple digit HP/TQ of show room floor. Now a custom bike with a 110/120 S&S, yamaha 113 with mods or Patrick racing jugs, M109, Rocket III, Vrod etc do it. |

The tail looks similar to the Ducati Desmosedici. It probably does wicked burnouts.
The backside looks a little too Euro for me... Or like they aren't finished with it.
Of all the specs to laugh at, the weight actually isn't that bad. The Ducati Diavel is about as lightweight and sporty as cruisers come, and its about 520lbs ready-to-ride. Its the measly 122hp and 122ft-lbs of torque out of a 2032cc engine thats friggin unforgivable. That same Diavel gets 160hp and almost 100ft-lbs out of a twin thats 830cc smaller... |
If it's like his movies, it'll run for an hour and get boring.

I'm thinking a motorcycle with design or concept input from an actor is not the best way to go.

When your product is a motorcycle in the $70k range, you can do things like that. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

When your product is a motorcycle in the $70k range, you can do things like that. It's probably 30k of the cost! Lol But really it serves no purpose. Like would you build a billet aluminum airplane, or boat. Billet aluminum gas can. No purpose. |

If you're talking about cruisers and old air-cooled stuff, then sure. But then again, whats the point of nitpicking performance with cruiser vtwins? Aprilia and Ducati have no such problem breaking 100hp with twins. |

I'll look for Keanu Reeves in Daytona previewing his creation. We'll see if he really rides one in the Daytona Biketoberfest/Bike Week traffic. |

Okay I understand that it is a V-twin. I also understand they are charging $70,000+ for the horsepower of a 74 Pinto 2.0 . If it was cheap I could let it slide but for that money no excuse |
