As someone who flies recreation R/C I wish the term drone would go away. I've already had to deal with the FAA thru the AMA on such topics.

"So far I've gotten to page 87 and it's a great read. I can't wait to get my own drone to get some aerial photography. The information is good, and it's easy to read. Once I get one I'll have to vacate my moms basement to get some hands on with it. This book seems to be very worth the read so far!"

The drone I'm building is autonomous so the term is accurate, but most people don't realize that

One time somebody asked me about my miniquad "drone." I said "See this transmitter I'm holding that's larger than the quad? That means it's not a drone"
