Is the car driving in the background the same as the squad car?
They look similar but I'm not that knowledgeable about 70's cars. |

I wonder if they watched her write the ticket from the donut shop window? |

I'm digging that Plymouth Fury. Looks to be a 1971, probably with the 440.

Why is there a handicapped sticker inside the meter maids car? View Quote Back then, meter maids were authorized to kneecap you citizens who were observed tearing up parking citations. On the positive side, your citation was forgiven and you were issued a handicap placard which grants you immunity from parking tickets. |

Those cushmans were notable for its inability to take corners. They'd tip. I knew one fellow who was a "parking enforcement officer" and as a joke, his coworkers put a toilet in the back compartment. That must have been fun to ride around with.

I think the joke here is her Cushman says "police dept" and she's citing a "sheriff's dept" vehicle. |

[#25]
That is a good way to create animosity between two departments.

Saw the bus but only one car. Good eye. Eta: I also recounted all cars pictured and see 42, not counting the Cushman. So I'm still going with bs on 1 in 10. |

It's a stretch, but I think there is another bus just to the right of the bus on the street. You can see it's upper rear corner over the hood of the car in the lot. 1 in 10, 1 in 14,,, still pretty good considering. |
