I am on a Kung Foo movie kick, mainly watching the Chinese movies.
I know it's all fake, choreographed and rehearsed. But still, some of these guys, and women, got some badass Kung foo skills. So who is the best karate man in the movies today? Jet Li? Or is there someone better?

I'm still a Jason Statham fan. Especially since he does a lot of his own stunts.

Wow, that movie was terrible, and nothing close to as awesome as the first. But Statham's stunts were all pretty good. Transporter series is what you want, though. |

Donnie yen or Tony Ja,not sure if
I'm spelling his name right. Jaa has the potential to be the next Jackie Chan. |

If your looking for pure action with great Martial Artists in it you need to watch The Raid : Redemption. Best movie I have ever seen for martial arts action from beginning to end. There is also a sequel out I have not seen but heard its also very good. They are made in Indonesia but don't let that stop you from watching them. |

Iko Uwais. Go watch The Raid : Redemption and then The Raid 2. Two of the most badass movies I have ever seen.
Scott Adkins is pretty good too. I enjoyed Man of Tai Chi as well, but I don't remember the main characters name. |

Just talking about it makes me want to go see if its on Netflix and watch it. Some seriously talented people in that movie. |

The movie Homefront is decent. Love seeing assholes get the shit stomped out of them. Techniques displayed in the movie are fairly realistic. |

View Quote Agreed, but he also has the potential to go where Jet Li did, and be stuck with fans saying his best films were pre-Hollywood, even 20 years later. Sheesh, remember Romeo Must Die? Noboyd does. And what is he doing in those Expandables movies? I mean, really? I liked "The One" though - great vehicle for him. |

View Quote I actually liked his early movies before he got spiritual (weird) and fat. |

Ex 2 was better than 1 simply because it is what the first should have been, a parody of awesome 80's action films, which made it a corny awesome action film. 1 was good, 3 was terrible. I liked the early Seagal movies but he is a huge asshole. Norris movies were good. Don't know who comes close today, I guess Statham in the transporter movies but they arent quite so new. |

Then again it was my first Jet Li movie too. I'd personally vote for Jackie Chan but he's no longer doing karate movies - at least ones where he's the action hero - cos no one will insure him. and I'm gonna pretend "The Hidden Kindgom" didn't happen. Just like "Highlander 2: The Quickening" doesn't exist either. |

It had a very "Never-Ending Story" type vibe to it. |
