Quoted: Why black in the desert?!?!? View Quote I'll try to post some links, but just in case I get lazy it is worth Googling. It seems that there are pros and cons to light and dark in high heat environments. From what I got out of it, humidity (clothes sticking to you) plays a major part, which is likely why Latin America favors loose light colored garments, while ME folks seem to wear black. I still haven't wrapped my head around it entirely. |

The Iraqis love putting crap on their rifles. I knew two at my old base that had a competition going on the amount of scopes, lasers, lights, etc., on their rifles. One guy had three lasers on his M16, but only one worked. He still wouldn't ditch the other two because it looked cool to him. The knee pads are typical. They would wear one on the knee and another on their ankle, because they saw out guys doing it. Some would even wear two on the knees and two on the ankles, for extra tactical knee padding. On Thursdays? Pretty much any day. I have to say, that the Iraqis are amateurs on man love compared to the Afghans. You would see it in Iraq, but the Afghans seemed to REALLY love each other. Not unusual to see ANA, or ANP put flowers behind each others ears while they were holding hands. |

By your logic deer, coyotes and cougars would have evolved to be green or died off long ago.

They're all right handed shooters, but two of them are wearing their knee pad on their left knee.
Excuse my ignorance, I'm not military or super tactical, but wouldn't the reason for wearing a single knee pad be to shoot from a kneeling position? You'd have your strong side knee on the ground, isn't that the side you'd want the knee pad on? |

Good God that's sick I was listening to a story about American male masculinity on NPR I believe that addressed this. They were saying while some foreign cultures are much more patriarchal than us, that this on the other hand was common and not a an indicator of anything but camaraderie etc. Some Nigerian guy was saying that since being in America, he can not bring himself to hold his brother's hands when he goes back to visit....just too weird after being here so long. I can not even begin to grasp the concept of holding my friend's hand while walking down the street. What a completely foreign concept. |

Scope behind a 512 with a laser mounted to the top?
I think I found new Beowolf customers! |

Swat dude on the left also seems to have a bungee sling connecting his tac vest to his wallet. Are wallet chains not kosher there?
Pretty sure dude in the middle mounted as much shit as he could, figuring more is better. Like 99% of tommy tactical dude do here too when they get their first SKS. Right to the Tapco / UTG catalog to install as much as we can hang off the rifle. I'm guilty of it and I'm sure you guys are too! That said, I think ol'boy has something on us. I'm sure rather than back up irons, he's all like "Fuck all y'all BUIS fan bois...I've got a back up scope for my red dot. How d'ya like me now!!?11!" Just now noticed...weren't those guys in the Marshal Tactical training video posted earlier? |

I wonder what kind of garbage ass mount it has for the scope/light/laser/anal bead holder with the unlucky base gun being a Chinese pattern Underfolder... or if he's so Iraqi tactihalal high speed he doesn't need to fold his stock?
I bet he's got a tapco frip too. |
|
[#25]
Could that be a side mount with the scope offset to the left?
If I had to carry an AK, I think I'd rather have one with a fixed wood stock and normal non-rail furniture. Gimme a tritium front post, a cleaning kit, good mags and ammo instead of all that shit. |
