Done one way, yes, but I prefer to cook the bacon on a flat top, then fry the eggs in bacon grease, then melt whatever cheese on top of the eggs and top with green chilies.

I fry my bacon in a skillet, like most normal people (), but I will say that possibly the best bacon I've ever had came out of the microwave! Friend had some kind of contraption from which you hang the bacon strips and they came out a perfect blend of chewy and crunchy.

It's edible but why BAKE bacon? 250-265 degrees for 2 hours, best perfectly crispy full flavored bacon, ever. I start with a cold oven, put in bacon, set to 400 degrees and set timer to 20 minutes. |

I do it so a whole pound gets cooked at once. Grease drains into a jar real nice off of a cookie sheet too. It is all consistently cooked and I don't have to deal with grease splatter. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

6/10 Never, Ever, Never cook less than a whole pound of Bacon at one time.
You must have more available for later when you desire more Bacon. I changed my mind 4/10 |

It is all consistently cooked and I don't have to deal with grease splatter. Eggs in cast iron or GTFO though. All correct. I got tired of hot splatter from bacon and hot spots in my pan since I had an electric stove. Bacon in the oven is MUCH easier and more consistent. Plus easier to save grease for gravy. |

Full pound of bacon cooked in a skillet. Three eggs cooked in the bacon grease. That is the proper way to do bacon and eggs.

So I assume that the bacon grease went in to your juice glass? If it didn't fry the eggs or get sopped up by the toast, then this is the only logical explanation. I guess you could have fried up some potatoes for lunch or something too... |
