I do smooth Peter pan natural with honey. Publix always has Peter pan bogo so I buy two every time it is.

Actually, in the advanced stages of alcoholism, this is true.

By this stage, the victim is usually about to go into a coma.

I have never been without bacon or bacon grease.  I can't remember ever being without butter either, but I could at least imagine that as a very remote possibility.

There's no item that I don't run out of once in a while, but milk and eggs least frequently than anything else.  When I'm down to a half gallon of milk or a half dozen eggs, I get more the next time I'm out.

When it goes on sale I'll buy 15+ lbs and just throw it in the freezer.  As a single guy I run out of shit all the time that I'll replace anywhere from the next day to the next month depending on what I'm cooking, but you'll always find some frozen chicken in my freezer.

The best part? Wife and kids don't like either, so I don't have to worry about food thievery.
